The Honeywell RLV430A is a low-cost digital thermostat built for electric baseboard heat, convectors, radiant ceilings and fan-forced heaters. This is similar in function and design to the RLV4300A, but the display isn't backlit. Support for baseboard heat has expanded, however, to include a voltage range from 120 - 240V. Separate programs can be set for weekdays and weekends, allowing up to 4 separate periods to be set throughout the day for various temperatures. A TRIAC system is used to make sure the temperature in the house is what the thermostat has been set to. Using the thermostat as directed can result in up to a 33% energy savings annually.
