Frequently Asked Questions
Where do you plug in the bed's proximity sensor?
One thing you do have to be aware of, the sensor and the nozzle are not going to be even, also, if you do a web search, there are some really good tools and suggestions on how to use Cura to adjust your auto-leveller.
Can this printer use Ninja Flex, powdered metal based filaments, PVA and HIPS filaments?
I assume the filaments you ask about require higher extruder and bed temperatures. The power supply on this printer can supply up to 20 amps so there may be an issue with it keeping up with the current demand for higher temps. This is just a guess. If you want to know for sure, do a search on power required for running those filaments. This printer uses a standard RepRap style extruder and MK3 heated bed.
How big is the footprint of this printer?
18" deep, 20" side to side including steppers and power supply.
