Edit

Trivial Pursuit: Bet You Know It Edition is a trivia-style board game from the Hasbro company that offers an alternative to standard versions of Trivial Pursuit. While maintaining the same primary objective and trivia style as the previous editions of the game, Bet You Know It Edition includes a betting-style feature that allows players to place wagers on the likelihood that one of their opponents will get a question right or wrong. Correct guesses provide poker-style value chips that can be exchanged for wedges - the category and color-specific pieces that allow a player to win the game. Another aspect that separates this edition from previous incarnations of the game is the addition of the "Mixologist" envelope, which includes four rotating topic cards instead of the standard single card. The cards in this envelope may or may not include questions relative to the category that is expected, and provides a further twist to other players betting on a given turn. Bet You Know It Edition includes 300 cards with 1600 never-before-used questions, with certain cards featuring multiple choice and image-related questions.
