Edit

The Harman/Kardon AVR 225 is a basic audio and video receiver built to be compatible with smaller satellite speakers. Each channel receives 55 watts of peak power, and is able to work with higher resistances for a cleaner sound. Decoding of high definition digital audio standards covers Dolby Digital and DTS decoding, with additional support for Logic 7 and Dolby Pro Logic II. Setup is guided by a series of on-screen menus, and the EzSet remote is designed to be easy to program. A number of inputs can be temporarily hooked up through the front panel, and a bypass option is available for analog inputs when the signal needs to be kept completely unprocessed.
