Edit

Goodyear's Fortera SilentArmor tires are for trucks or SUVs and have a specially designed interior that provides a very quiet ride with durability. There is a highly-absorbent layer under the treads that absorbs impact and keeps the ride quiet, and beneath that a layer of Kevlar for extra strength and toughness. There is a similar protective layer on the sidewalls to guard against damage, as well as a rim protector that guards wheels from curb damage. The tread itself has circumferential grooves and deep blades, providing good traction in wet and dry conditions, and decent winter handling.
