The Gigabyte Q2005 is one of two Atom N550-based netbooks released in 2011. It improves from the M1005 in some areas, while it downgrades in others. For instance, though it maintains the same Intel Atom Dual Core CPU, it allows for a larger HDD up to 500GB. At the same time, the Q2005 is limited to just standard Ethernet and a much lower .3MP (versus 1.3MP) webcam. The one signature improvement is the jump from a 4-in-1 card reader to an 8-in-1 card reader. Also included is a 10.1” LED backlight display, integrated speakers and a mic, Bluetooth 3.0, Gigabit LAN, and up to a 6-cell battery. There is no vertical docking station.
