The Gigabyte GA-P35T-DQ6 is an upper-midrange, socket 775 ATX motherboard designed for Intel Core 2, Pentium, and Celeron processors up to a 1600MHz FSB with overclocking. As an upgrade from the GA-EP35-DS4, the GA-P35T-DQ6 trades in DDR2 for dual-channel DDR3 1333/1066/800 memory, though the performance is significantly hampered by higher latencies. Also featured is 8-definition audio, Gigabit LAN, FireWire, and hosts PCI Express x16, meaning support for ATI CrossFirex. Compared to the ASUS P5K3, the Gigabyte GA-P35T-DQ6 is missing eSATA, an additional Gigabit port, and a superior ADI 1988 HD audio codec. Plus BIOS fine-tuning is very limited, especially for serious overclockers. It lacks a bevy of features like current North  Bridge voltage/temperature, FSB voltage, fan rotation speed adjustment options, and the ability to change voltage in absolute and not relative units.
