This board is a step up from the Gigabyte’s GA-MA790GPT-UD3H, as the GA-MA790FXT-UD5P ditches onboard graphics and Hybrid CrossFireX for full-fledged CrossFireX and two PCI Express 2.0 slots running in x16 mode. This motherboard is compatible with AM3 socket processors, including the latest 6-core Phenom II models. Overclockers will likely appreciate the 8+2 phase VRM design with AMD OverDrive support, allowing enthusiasts to get the most out of their system.
