The Gigabyte GA-EP35-DS4 is an upper-midrange, socket 775 ATX motherboard designed for Intel Core 2, Pentium, and Celeron processors up to a 1600MHz FSB with overclocking. Featured are eight SATA bays with RAID support, DDR2 up to 8GB at 1200MHz (overclocking), FireWire, Gigabit LAN, and high-definition 7.1+2 channel audio with DTS and support for full-rate loseless Bluray-disc audio. As an advanced system, it also hosts dual PCI Express x16, meaning support for ATI CrossFirex; and Dynamic Energy Saver for monitoring and reducing power consumption. As an upscale board, the Gigabyte GA-EP35-DS4 has garnered decent reviews, though its overclocking capability is modest at best. Plus the BIOS is underdone, in that it lacks a bevy of features like current North  Bridge voltage/temperature, FSB voltage, fan rotation speed adjustment options, and the ability to change voltage in absolute and not relative units.
