Edit

The Gibson Buckethead Signature Les Paul is a guitar built after the custom Les Paul played by the guitar legend Buckethead. It features a two-piece maple top bonded to an oversized, chambered mahogany body. This gives the guitar good clarity, definition and treble bite from the maple, and excellent depth and richness from the mahogany. Using chambers in the body gives the guitar a more complex tone while also increasing volume and sustain. The solid mahogany neck is topped with headstock at a 17 degree angle, which increases pressure on the strings and helps to prevent slipping from the nut slots. The fingerboard is made of Grade-A ebony for a strong, clear tone, and features 24 jumbo frets. It should be noted that inlays were intentionally not used here to reflect the Buckethead design. Ceramic pickups are used to provide a clear sound with strong output. A single volume control and single tone control operate both pickups, and the body is adorned with 2 red "arcade" style pushbutton kill switches.
