Giant's new Trance X line falls between the x-country and all-mountain freestyle categories (good for trail riders and singletrack climbs and descents).  The X2 is the entry level model, with the XO being the top end in the line.  The Trance X2 deliver 5 inches of travel with Maestro Suspension's new setup, and the Giant design team has tweeked some design issues to keep the Trance X bikes lightweight around 27-30 lbs using the all-new Aluxx SL alloy frameset.

Features:

  • Fox 32 F120R, 120mm suspension fork and Fox Float R rear shock
  • Hayes Stroker Ryde Hydraulic disc brakes
  • Race Face Ride XC handlebar, stem and seatpost
  • WTB Speed Disc Trail rim/sealed hub wheelset

Took this out for the first ride of the year on the weekend....very sweet. This is an awesome trail machine with wicked suspension and is light enough to rip uphills as well as down. Love it so far.
