The Gateway LT2005u is an entry-level, 10.1" netbook, part of the lower-end LT20 series. While LT21-series models are available with the Intel Atom N450 processor, the LT2005u utilizes the slower N270, which runs at 1.6 GHz. The netbook comes with 1 GB of memory and wireless networking, but Bluetooth is unavailable. Other connectivity includes a 5-in-1 card reader. Unlike some low-end netbooks, the LT2005u features a trackpad supporting multi-touch gestures. A webcam and three USB ports are standard, and Windows XP is pre-installed. Other nearly identical models are available with 3-cell rather than 6-cell batteries, a red rather than black finish, and Windows 7.
