The Garmin Rino 130 is an outdoor GPS receiver/two-way radio. This receiver is a standard FRS/GMRS radio, so that it can be used to communicate with other FRS/GMRS radios that happen to be around. The display of the Rino 130 is 1.4" x 1.4" of LCD. You can input as many as five hundred places and twenty routes into the memory of this receiver, and then come back to them whenever you need. The built-in Worldwide City Point database allows you to quickly find points of interest in any given city. With the 24MB of internal memory, you can also load points of interest from compatible MapSource products. The Rino 130 receiver has a Position Reporting feature, which allows you to send your exact location to other Rino users in your group. When used, this feature will send your groupmates a map page with your precise location. The Garmin Rino 130's 24MB built-in memory, barometric altimeter (which pinpoints your precise altitude), electronic compass (which provides constant bearing information, even when you are standing still), and NOAA weather radio (with a weather alert option that warns you of storm warnings in your area) make it a step up from the lower cost Rino 120.
