Edit

The Garmin nüvi 350 is marketed as a traveller's assistant with three main roles: GPS navigation, traveller's reference, and digital entertainment. All of this functionality doesn't come at the expense of size as nüvi is about the size of a deck of cards. It sports a 3.5" diagonal color touch screen with a resolution of 320 x 240.

As a GPS navigator the nüvi provides accurate position data on its color screen along with detailed maps, automatic routing, and turn-by-turn voice directions. It can be used as a handheld, or can be suction-cupped to your windshield with the included attachment. nüvi runs on a lithium rechargeable battery that'll give you between 4 and 8 hours of battery life.

Features

  • Strong GPS receiver
  • Turn-by-turn voice directions
  • Portable
  • Language translator software

There are several versions nüvis with similar features including the 360 and 370 models. Also, have a look at the new 680 in the same line, released in Jan. 2007.
