Edit

The Garmin nuvi 1100 is a budget-friendly autmobile GPS receiver that trades away all its peers’ advanced features in favor of a price most people can afford. It hosts a simple 3.5” display and is built to handle basic turn-by-turn directions. There is no text-to-speech functionality, no lane assistance, and no traffic updates, though it is compatible with FM traffic and MSN Direct. It comes preloaded with City Navigator NT maps (US, Hawaii, Puerto Rico) with millions of POIs, not to mention 2D/3D digital elevation maps. The most coveted feature is ecoRoute, which calculates the most fuel-efficient route, tracks fuel usage, and more. Additional features include a world clock, an image viewer, and a microSD expansion slot.
