Runners can the "Virtual Partner" and "Virtual Racer" functions to send a virtual opponent alongside them as they traverse a given route, with constant updating for realistic training motivation. First Beat heartbeat analysis technology provides the "Training Effect" system, an intelligent calculator that measures the aerobic impact of various exercises. This helps to reduce accidental injury amongst amateur athletes, thereby increasing the effectiveness of each workout session. A wide range of vibration alerts are also available, providing users with programmable notices based on time, distance, calories burned, heart rate and more. For ambitious joggers who prefer to run without a pre-configured route in mind, the "Navigate Back To Start" feature offers one-touch direction to the point at which the GPS was triggered.
