Garmin's Forerunner 310XT is one of its high-end personal training devices. Designed for triathletes, the 310XT collects data such as speed, distance and time for bicycling and running, and it is waterproof up to 50 meters for swimming as well. It is also GPS-enabled, meaning that it accurately tracks position as well. It can also wirelessly transfer data to a computer for further analysis or comparison with Garmin's online Garmin Connect community, or optional Garmin Training Centre software. It can store up to 1000 lap data entries and 100 storable GPS waypoints. It includes a 20-hour rechargeable battery, and compatibility with other Garmin training accessories such as heart rate monitors, power meters, foot pods, or bicycle speed/cadence monitors, although these must be purchased separately. It also features the full range of Garmin's trainer features, such as the ability to create custom workouts, train against a Virtual Partner, customizable screens and calorie counter, and more.
