The FUJIFILM XF1 is an addition to the X-Series line of digital cameras, and is a unique model that prioritizes its lens and form factor. It is a versatile camera intended for portability and variety of shooting functions, and its compact retro aesthetic is one of its main selling points. The XF1 has a Fujinon F1.8-4.9 wide angle manual zoom lens (25-100mm equivalent), and this large aperture is an added feature over lower models. There are also three default "modes" of the camera: one for storage, one for shooting, and one with the lens out but on standby to conserve battery power. Lens control is supposed to be highly sensitive and responsive. The XF1's body is made of aluminum body along with synthetic leather covering, available in three different colors. Overall, it is a more advanced point-and-shoot model with emphasis on lens quality and processing compared to lower Fujifilm models.
