Fujifilm's FinePix T300/T305 is a forthcoming mid-range point-and-shoot model that combines simplicity of use with a telephoto lens, fairly high sensitivity, and HD video recording capabilities. Its features, sensor, and processor are identical to the concurrent T200 model, with the only difference being that the T300 has a 3-inch display instead of 2.7. Like the T200 it auto-detects faces, smiles and blinks, and can even trigger the shutter when a smile is detected. It has CMOS-shift image stabilization, which, coupled with the high ISO, can reduce blurring, and a tracking auto-focus for moving subjects. It has several dial-selectable shooting modes, six scene modes, and a 28-mm wide-angle lens. The T300 will have an expected $20 price difference over the T200.
