Cheetos are a cheese flavored snack formally classified in the "chip" category produced by Frito-Lay. Cheetos are manufactured by blending corn and water to produce a mixture that is naturally gray in color. The texture of the snack is caused by contact with hot air, which causes steam in the mixture to expand, creating a bread-like snack. After that they are tumbled in the desired flavor to disperse it evenly.
Cheetos may be best know for the eccentric cheetah mascot that is seen in most commercials and print advertisements. In recent years Cheetos have branched out and you can now find them different flavor variations.
