The '65 Deluxe Reverb from Fender is a middle-end guitar amp. It shares similar aspects with another Fender amp from the same line, the '65 Princeton Reverb. Both amps use the same rectifier (a 5AR4 tube) and both have a 1/4" footswitch jack. However, the '65 Deluxe Reverb not only has more channels (two versus one), but it also has bigger speakers (12" versus 10"). The '65 Deluxe Reverb features two 6V6 Groovetube output tubes, which helps the amp to sound louder. It also "smooths out" the audio signal by handling the signal peaks in a way that pleases the ear, and can even make a transition into distortion sound more pleasing. The amp also features a vibrato channel, which has more types of control than the normal channel, including reverb, and vibrato speed and intensity. This gives the user more options to work with, and lets them create new, unique types of sound. As well as these, the '65 Deluxe Reverb features four inputs. It uses two inputs per channel, giving the user many ports to plug in compatible devices.
