The EVGA GeForce 9600 GSO is a low budget video card aimed at budget-minded gamers. The major differences between this and the 9500 GT is an increased number of processors, a decrease in the amount of memory, and a jump in the bandwidth the memory is given. A large cooling fan has been shipped with this card, and it comes with two DVI-I outputs and a HDTV-7 output.
The 96 stream processors work at 550MHz in concert with 384MB of memory. While that's a decrease in the amount of memory from previous models, the bandwidth has been raised to 38.4GB/sec to move data in and out of memory that much faster. This card has been built specifically to be easily overclocked, and a 650MHz "superclocked" version has been sold by EVGA as well.
