Frequently Asked Questions
Does this take up a lot of room like the normal car seat?
We bought it for Ford Escort and that's a very small car. It fits fine in the middle. I have a different brand Graco 65 and it huge compared to this one. Hope this helps.
Does this seat have EPS energy absorbent foam? Or any other safety features? I don't see anything mentioned about how it is a safe car seat.
All car seats must meet federal safety standards, so all seats are safe if used properly. The safest seat is the one that fits your child and your car, and is used correctly every time. Rear facing is also significantly safer than forward facing. I've copied the following from Evenflo's website about this car seat: Meets or exceeds all applicable federal safety standards and Evenflo's side impact standards. Designed and tested for structural integrity at energy levels approximately 2X the federal crash test standard. FMVSS 213: Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards for Child Restraint Systems FMVSS 302: Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards for Flammability of Interior Materials Certified For Use In Aircraft: ONLY when used with the 5-point harness this restraint meets FAA Inversion requirements for airplane use. Evenflo Temperature Testing: All current Evenflo car seats are tested for product integrity at both high and low temperatures.
Does it face forward
Yes it faces forward or reverse. Seat belt goes through the back of it for forward facing and uses bottom belts for rear facing. Highly recommend this car seat.
