The Epson PowerLite 85 is the second of four super-efficient and high-powered multimedia projectors released in May of 2009. It is optimized for the classroom with a plethora of features that make it easy to use, inexpensive to operate, and extremely effective for teachers and students alike. A step up from the PowerLite 84, the Epson PowerLite 85 adds along an RJ-45 port for LAN connectivity, EMP Monitor Software for utilizing the projector as a ‘broadcast system’, and an optional Quick Wireless Connection USB Key for WiFi connectivity. Like its peer, the Epson PowerLite 85 projecter features Epson’s E-TORL lamp technology with an extended 6000 hour life and 2600 luminosity (Lumens), USB plug n’ play connectivity for easy PC setup, and a dedicated microphone input along with an internal 10W speaker for easy broadcasting throughout a large room. The Epson PowerLite 85 retails for $899.00 and comes with a 2 year limited warranty.
