The Energy Veritas V-Mini is a mid-cost bookshelf speaker. This model has many features in common with the higher cost Veritas V-5.1 model. For example, both models are equipped with Energy's Convergent Source Module technology. This technology consists of separate chambers for each driver, which provides a wide sound dispersion. Another shared feature is a one inch aluminum-domed tweeter, which reproduces high frequencies with a minimum of distortion. This model is a step down from the Veritas V-5.1 in that it has a smaller woofer (4.5" as opposed to 5.25"), can handle less amplifier power (150 watts as opposed to 175 watts), and has only one 5-way nickel-plated binding post for speaker connection (instead of a pair).
