The eMachines ET1161-07 is an entry-level desktop PC, one step above the concurrently-release ET1161-05. The major upgrades from the ET1161-05 are that the ET1161-07 has 3GB of DDR2 SDRAM and a dual-core Athlon X2 processor. The processor is a 2.1GHz AMD Athlon X2 4050e with 1MB of L2 cache, and the 3GB of RAM can be upgraded up to 8GB total. It has the same motherboard as teh ET1161-05, the NVIDIA GeForce 6150SE, with integrated graphics processing. The hard drive is also larger, at 320GB. The operating system is Windows Vista Home Premium SP1, and peripherals include stereo speakers, keyboard and a PS2 wheel mouse. Audio playback capabilities are 7.1-channel high-definition. The disc drive is an 18x DVD±R/RW, and there is also a digital media card reader for portable memory sticks. The ET1161-07 also has front-access ports, including USB and audio I/O. The PC does not include a monitor.
