The eMachines EL1352-07e is a budget desktop computer. Featuring a smaller form factor than other eMachines systems, it will appeal to consumers tight on space and seeking a desktop that will ensure decent performance in mainstream computing tasks. Virtually identical to the EL1352-03, it utilizes an AMD Athlon II dual-core processor running at 2.8GHz (though a step down in cache size from that found in the -03) and 4GB of DDR3 memory. Like most sub-$500 desktops, it lacks a discrete graphics chip. The EL1352-07e supports high-definition, 5.1-channel audio, and comes with 500GB of storage capacity. Windows 7 Home Premium comes pre-installed. The ET1831-07 represents a step up, offering an Intel processor and 750GB of hard drive space.
