The Godfather 2 is a sandbox-style action-adventure video game developed by EA Redwood Shores and published by Electronic Arts on April 7th, 2009 for Playstation 3, Xbox 360, and Microsoft Windows. A sequel to The Godfather: The Game, Godfather 2 (based on the movie: ‘The Godfather Part II’) is also a third-person shooter (similar to Grand Theft Auto) with both story-based and side missions involving driving vehicles, engaging in hand-to-hand fist fighting, and combating enemies with handguns, shotguns, and machine guns. In addition, Godfather 2 features a ‘Black Hand 2.0’ control scheme that allows the player to grab, kick, knee, and head-butt their enemies. Plus, Godfather 2 allows both target-lock and free aiming, not to mention squad management (commanding a group of soldiers), business ownership, and strategic map moves (defending or attacking a territory). The Godfather 2 is rated M by the ESRB and retails for $49.99.
