Frequently Asked Questions

  • What is the height of the fixed, middle shelf?

36" but if you order 4 MPC0409BLK Post Couplers you can set the middle shelf anywhere you would like it.

  • Can you unassemble these for moving?

You assemble using a rubber mallet to set the rivets. They can be disassembled the same way. If they were assembled/disassembled many times, I might worry that the holes in the rails would get worn and not be as snug a fit. The upper rails butt flush with the lower rails. It is better to have a 2nd person help with assembly.

  • Are there any rubber feet or some sort of protection on the bottom to keep it from scratching the floor all up?

    No.

Dimensions

The posts on this shelving unit have a two-piece design so it can be assembled vertically to create one 72 x 48 x 18 inch (H x W x D) unit, or assembled horizontally to create one 36 x 48 x 18 inch (H x W x D) unit with two shelves, and one 36 x 48 x 18 inch (H x W x D) unit with three shelves. (H is height, the vertical distance from lowest to highest point; W is width, the horizontal distance from left to right; D is depth, the horizontal distance from front to back.)
