The ECS P43T-A2 is a low-end, budget minded board for users not interested in all the advanced extra features of more expensive motherboards such as additional PCI-E slots, RAID support, and overclocking functionality. The P43T-A2 takes advantage of the installed Intel P43 chipset, and provides socket LGA 775 support for Intel Quad-core, Core 2 Duo, Pentium D and Celeron processors. It supports a FSB (Front Side Bus) frequency of 1333MHz. For memory the motherboard includes 4 240 pin DIMM slots with support for dual channel DDR2 800MHz ram modules up to a maximum of 16GB. The device includes 1 PCI-E x16 slot, 3 PCI-E slots, and 2 PCI slots. The P43T-A2 also features a Realtek ALC662 audio chipset which provides support for 6 channel analog audio. The motherboard comes pre-installed with 4 USB 2.0 ports but includes 4 USB headers for up to a maximum of 16 USB 2.0 ports. The ECS P43T-A2 was released in October, 2008 and has an MSRP of $75.
