The Digital Storm 690 II Advanced is a desktop computer geared specifically toward gaming. Like all of Digital Storm's gaming desktops, this model has four variations in four different price ranges. Though all four model variations of the 690 II Advanced have NVIDIA graphics cards, the levels range from GT 220 to GT 580. The processors of the model variations range from the lowest cost model's AMD Phenom X6 1055T 2.8GHz processor to the highest cost Intel Core i7 Quad Core 3.06 GHz processor. All of the components are geared toward gaming, but the higher cost models will provide more detailed graphics and smoother running. Because intense gaming can heat up the PC, this desktop has a large front fan, which pulls cool air into the 690 II Advanced system, while two large fans at the top pull hot air out. This gaming desktop differs from the slightly lower cost Elite 430 model in that the it has a mesh front, which allows for more airflow to keep the hardware cool. However, this desktop lacks the slightly higher cost HAF 932 model's open air chassis design and side panel fan. The Digital Storm 690 II Advanced gaming desktop comes with a three year warranty.
