Frequently Asked Questions
Can this be used for pinworms?
When D E is magnified 7000 thousand times you can see the sharp edges and these edges cut and kill any internal worm! D E does sooo much more everyone should be taking it!
What is the heavier dark (black) material that's left at the bottom of a cup after mixing and drinking?
I do notice that if the mixture isn't stirred or shaken regularly when drinking that there is sometimes a gritty residue in the bottom, but it's not black. The powder is usually gray in color. I would suggest you make sure you are getting the food grade and it is specifically indicated on the packaging that it is ok for human consumption.
Is this the same DE used in aquarium diatom filters?
No. This is Food Grade DE. The DE you speak of is highly toxic to consume due to the levels of silica. Do not use the pool grade for anything other than pool filters. The Food Grade DE offered here is harmless.
