Frequently Asked Questions

  • Do you think I could cut concrete if I were to use a 4 1/2 in diamond blade?

It'll cut anything, with the right blade.

  • Can this grinder be used to grind off and smooth quick set after home tile removal job ?

It is NOT ideal for removing/smoothing off quick set based largely on the size of the grinding wheel and the square footage you are working on. However this grinder could given enough patience and the extra effort do the job but I don't recommend it. I think you should go to a larger corded grinder and/or use a chisel/chipper tool.

  • Can use it to cut tile?

Yes. You will need to buy a tile blade. It's not the best for making long straight cut but it gets the job done.
