The Denon DHT-588BA is a 5.1 home theater sound system that combines Denon's AVR-588 A/V receiver with Boston Acoustics’ Horizon MCS 130 5.1 speaker system. It features 75 watts per speaker, plus a 200 watt powered subwoofer. With seven channels of audio, this allows 5.1 sound in one room and a seperate stereo signal to be sent to another room. The reciever features multiple audio/video connections, including 2 HDMI 1.3a video inputs for 1080p pass-through, plus 3 component video inputs that are HD-compatible. It is XM Radio ready and features an AM/FM tuner, and the ability to connect to Ipod through an optional accessory.
