The Denon DVD-758 is a progressive-scan DVD player equipped with the ability to upconvert to 720p, 1080i and 1080p resolution through HDMI. The player has a DCDi decoding engine for video processing with dual discrete 12-bit 216MHz analog video DACs. A RS-232C serial port and serial IR ports allows for integration with third party control systems, and Burr-Brown 24/192 digital-to-analog converters regulate audio, with built-in Dolby Digital, DTS, DVD-Audio and SACD decoders. The DVD-758 can also play DVD-V, DVD-A, SACD, CD-R/RW, DVD-R/RW, DVD+R/RW, DivX, MP3 and JPEG disks. It has composite, component and S-video output, plus coaxial and optical digital audio output.
