The Denon DBP-2011UDCI is one of two 3D-ready, universal Blu-ray disc players initially released in Summer 2010, but later updated with 3D firmware in Fall 2010. As the superior model, the DBP-2011UDCI builds from the DBP-1611UD by incorporating Anchor Bay Technologies ABT2015 video-processing chip; Burr-Brown 32-Bit, 192-kHz Audio DACs; advanced HD audio decoding from Dolby/DTS; and RS-232/IR inputs & outputs. Like its predecessor, the unit plays all major disc types (BD, DVD, etc.) and includes an HDMI v1.4a output that is both 3D and CEC compliant (3D firmware released in Fall 2010). More importantly, the DBP-2011UDCI is DLNA compliant and capable of connecting to the Internet for video/audio/photo streaming, BD-Live, and more.
