The AVR-488 is a surround sound receiver from Denon. The system is ideal for a 5.1channel  speaker set up and produces 375 whats of power (5 channels x 75 watts). The unit supports Dolby Digital 5.1, Dolby Pro Logic II, DTS 5.1, and DTS Neo6 for maximum sound output at precise 32 bits. Users can also run video components from the AVR-488 up to 1080p. Features 2 HDMI v1.3a inputs and 1 HDMI v1.3a output. Has a deep colour up system for up to 36 bit colour. The system is network ready and can be used with the ASD-3N/3W accessories for network audio/photo. The AVR-488 is XM ready for satellite radio needs. Users can also hook in their iPods with the optional ASD-1R/3N/3W accessories.
