Edit

The AVR-1911 is one of Denon's low-cost A/V receiver offerings. One of the most important features of Denon's A/V receivers across the board is their audio decoders, Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD Master Audio, which help contribute to the improved audio experience emphasized by Denon in promotion. Another of Denon's key A/V receiver features is the Anchor Bay Technologies upscaler, which upgrades standard definition sources to HDMI. The AVR-1911 has most of the same features as the related AVR-1611, but with the addition of iPod digital direct connectivity (via USB), as well as a built-in HD radio tuner (where AM sounds like FM and FM sounds like CD quality. The AVR-1911 also lacks the Compressed Audio Restorer of the AVR-1611

An important consideration to me is the auto-sound adjusting feature noted on the Devon AVR-791. How good is it? are others that I should consider?
