The Denon AVR-1708 is an entry-level home theater A/V surround receiver designed to deliver outstanding performance at a moderate price. A step up from the AVR-1508, the Denon AVR-1708 adds along Audyssey Laboratories Auto Setup & Calibration / MultiEQ, and upconversion to the component video output. Like its predecessor, the AVR-1708 features HDMI 1.3a video switching for high quality video realism & ease of use, network expandability with an optional ASD-3W/3N iPod docking station, and a plethora of digital processing. It should be noted though that there are only video inputs, and so true HDMI switching with audio is not an option (Please see AVR-1908). Additional features of the Denon AVR-1708 A/V receiver include a 7-ch equal power amplifier, analog-to-digital conversion at 24-bit/96Hz, 2-zone capability, and a simple to use remote. The Denon AVR-1708 retails for $499.00 and comes with a 1 year limited warranty.

I've never heard of video only HDMI. I thought that was the whole point of HDMI. Audio and video all in one. I think somebody is mistaken on this description. Please prove me otherwise. Thank you.
