The Denon AVR-1312 is a 5.1 channel audio and video receiver for home use. This is the most basic model in the series, and is followed by the Denon AVR-1612. While most features are the same between the two models, it should be noted that the 24-bit analog-to-digital conversion is sampled at 96kHz in this case, rather than 192kHz, and this system doesn't have an auto-setup calibration system. Most other features are consistent between the two models, including the use of HDMI 1.4a standards that support both 3D video content and Deep Color and x.v.Color support for a larger color range than standard-definition systems. High-resolution audio formats are also supported, including Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD. Audio is output over 5.1 channels using discrete amplification, ensuring that the 110 watt output per channel is as clear and distinct as possible.
