Edit

The Dell SP2009W is a 20" 1680x1050 widescreen HD display with webcam. It comes with a 2.0 MB webcam, a feature that's surprisingly not very common with widescreen displays. It has 2000:1 contrast ratio, an impressive number that exceeds that of the Dell UltraSharp 2007FP, the $414 20" monitor. It's response time, at just 2ms, is especially impressive if compared with the rest of the Dell monitors in the W, FP, and WFP monitor series: their response times ranges from 5-16ms! Response time is a measurement of how well a monitor reduces ghosting and delay, and removes blur from complex fast moving games and full-motion video. It comes with Dell TrueLife technology, which the manufacturer claims makes "rich, vibrant colors and remarkable color reproduction." Unfortunately there are no third party tests of the color and display performance of this monitor.
