The Dell 2150cdn is a laser printer capable of printing up to 24 pages per minute and is the successor to Dell's 1350cnw LED printer. Laser printing technology although not as fast and economical as LED printing does offer better resolution and image quality. However, the 2150cdn is substantially heavier(as in two times) than the personal LED based printers in this series like the one mentioned above and has double the memory at 256MB(expandable to 768MB), making it capable of printing twice the pages per minute in light of this fact. Input capacity has increased from 150 sheets to a 250 sheet tray albeit with the option to add another 250 sheet tray for a total of 500, although instead of the 10 sheet bypass drawer found in that model it has opted for a one sheet multipurpose tray. What these do is give you the option to add paper of irregular size or texture without having to reload the main input tray, when you wanted to print just a few copies on the special paper anyway. Connectivity wise it has a LAN and USB port, and also a port for an optional WiFi dongle so it can print wirelessly like the 1350cnw which has WiFi built in. This model is suited for small office work where print quality is more important than volume and speed, and for those that do not require a lot of duplexing there is the otherwise identical but slightly cheaper 2150cn, notice they dropped the 'd' from the title.
