The Dell Inspiron Duo is a mid-cost laptop. This laptop is hybrid of a netbook and a tablet PC, with both keyboard and touchscreen capabilities. The flip-hinge design of the Duo's body allows you to easily switch from touch to type. You just spin the screen, lock it into place and push the lid down to switch. Thanks to the 10.1" HD multi-touch display (with 1366x768 resolution), you can watch high-quality visuals (with the Broadcom Crystal HD accelerator ensuring things run smoothly) or use the tablet part as an e-book reader. To access your photos and music quickly, the Stage feature of the Duo allows you to get at them with a click or touch of the finger. The dual-core Intel Atom N550 processor will be able to handle basic commands and browsing, and helps to keep this laptop's weight down. This laptop is equipped with the Windows 7 Home Premium OS. There are color options available for the Dell Inspiron Duo netbook/tablet hybrid.

I like it and it's very portable. It does what I need it to do for work when I am out on the weekends. However, it's Atom processor renders it very slow. Also, though I like the ability to go from one input mode to another, the touch screen mode requires too much pinpoint accuracy. Even though my fingers are not that chubby, I have trouble touching just the right spot. Perhaps there is some sort of adjustment for this.
