Edit

The Dell Mini 9 is a netbook from Dell. Intended to compete with the likes of the Asus EEE pc, MSI Wind and Acer Aspire One, the Mini 9 is not meant to be a users primary computer. Rather, it is designed to be a lifestyle accessory, light, easy to use and as close to a fully featured laptop as possible while avoiding the extra bulk, expense, heat and noise of a regular laptop. Rumoured to be released at the end of August for a measly $299, the official specifications of the device have been leaked, and are confirmed to be not unlike many other competing devices on the market. Utilizing the low cost, low power Intel Atom CPU, the Mini 9 will have 512-1024MB of DDR2 ram, a 4, 8, or 16GB SSD drive, and a keyboard that's 89% the size of a standard keyboard. It also has an LED backlit screen.

Features
  • Intel Atom Processor (1.6GHz, 533MHz FSB)

  • Memory Card Reader
  • 10/100 Ethernet, Wi-Fi B/G
