Edit

The Dell Inspiron 17R was released in 2011 as an upgrade from the Inspiron 17R (2010). As a next generation laptop, the new updated 17R features next generation Intel processors up to a quad core Core i7 that’s faster, more efficient, and better performing than the processor used in the 2010 17R. In addition, the lid has been adjusted so that it can be removed and subsequently replaced with another lid, though the other lid must be purchased separately. Other changes include the incorporation of USB 3.0 and Bluetooth 3.0. Like its 2010 counterpart, the 17R 2011 offers stereo speakers for listening to music and a large hard drive for storing lots of multimedia content. However, the 17R now offers an optional Nvidia graphics card for serious gamers. Plus the webcam has been greatly upgraded so that it’s now high definition, which translates to much higher quality web conferences.
