Edit

The Dell Adamo XPS is an extremely thin laptop developed and strategically marketed by Dell. First they set up a teaser website with no information except for a side shot of the laptop. It was then initially revealed on September 9th, 2009 as a press conference where Dell offered only a brief teasing look at the laptop. The Dell Adamo XPS is only 9.99-mm thick, one of the thinnest laptops on the market. The guts of the computer all have to be packed up into the base of the monitor because of the thinness of the device, meaning the keyboard has to be raised at an angle and connected at a hinge to the bottom of the monitor. This brings up logistical questions, such as how to handle the laptop when it is sitting in your lap. The slender form of the Dell Adamo XPS comes with a high price tag, making it a relatively expensive product on the market.
