Edit

The Dell OptiPlex 960 is the most expensive member of the OptiPlex line but that does not mean it is expensive when compared to other computers on the market. The 960 is reasonably priced for the hardware and features it offers, starting in the six hundreds for the mini towers and raising up to the seven hundreds for the more expensive of the featured systems. Like the other computers in the OptiPlex line, the Dell OptiPlex 960 offers several security features -such as Intel vPro technology that isolates system threats to keep them from the network, full disk encryption hard drives, built-in TPM 1.2 to protect the network from unauthorized uses, biometric readers and smart card keyboards.  The security features are optional, and some of them will push the price of the machine up. The Dell OptiPlex 960 is designed to minimize power usage to make the machine a little more green.
