The Dell Inspiron 560s is a desktop that, depending on the options selected by the customer, can become a low-end, mid-range, or high-end PC. It is designed for both casual users who only need to use basic applications, and also high end users who use resource heavy programs. It features a selection of Intel processors, the Windows 7 operating system, and up to 6GB Dual Channel DDR3 RAM. There are four Intel processors available to the customer: the Celeron (2.2GHz, 512KB L2, 800MHz), the Pentium Dual Core (2.7GHz, 2MB L2, 800MHz), the Core 2 Duo (2.93GHz, 2MB L2, 1066MHz), and the Core 2 Quad (2.33GHz, 4MB L2, 1333MHz). The Celeron is designed more for lower-end users, the Pentium Dual-Core and Core 2 Duo are for mid-range users, and the Core 2 Quad is for high end users. The Inspiron 560s uses the Windows 7 operating system to ensure compatibility with the latest programs and software, as well as system stability. When purchasing the Inspiron 560s, a customer may choose models which feature 2GB, 4GB, and 6GB RAM. The more RAM a PC has, the more programs it can run smoothly and at once. When compared to another Dell desktop PC, the Inspiron 546s, the Inspiron 560s has several advantages, including the use of DDR3 RAM instead of DDR2, and a larger harddrive. However, it uses an inferior graphics card on the default units.
