Edit

The D-Link DWA-140 is a Wireless RangeBooster N USB adapter that works with Windows desktops and laptops. It builds from the DWA-130 by providing a greater transmission range. Otherwise, it is a near duplicate, and also capable of transmitting at full Draft N speeds of up to 300Mbps. Keep in mind though that your router needs to be properly configured; many users complain that they are unable to go beyond 130Mbps, but this is oftentimes due to an improperly configured access point. Note also that the DWA-140 only works with Windows operating systems, and is supposedly incompatible with 64-bit Vista.
