The D-Link DWA-130 is a simple Wireless N USB adapter that works with Windows desktops and laptops. The transmitter utilizes 2.4GHz wireless technology to transmit to a wireless router or access point, and can in fact reach full Draft N speeds of up to 300Mbps. There are some things to keep an eye out for though. The DWA-130 is advertised as 100% Vista compliant, but many users have complained that the unit doesn’t work with 64-bit Vista. Plus, it has zero compatibility with Macintosh computers, and retails at a relatively expensive price. One user did manage to make his unit work with Windows 7 using the included Vista drivers though.
